Our association started this annual program 4 years ago. We are about to have our 4th annual hookin up and hangin out. This is a day for our towers to come out and enjoy the company and commoradory of their fellow towers. Everyone is welcome whether they are a member of our association or if they are not. We want them to come see what being a part of an association could do for them. In the past we have had from 150 to 300 people attend this event and we run it from 10am to 4pm and throughout the day we put on all different kinds of demonstrations with all different equipment. We will do recoveries with heavy duty tow trucks, we will do rollovers , we do an air bag demonstration. Towers from each side of the state can talk to other towers that have the same problems that they do and everybody can share ideas about how things can be done, maybe pick up a new idea or share tricks of the trade with each other. We go over motorcycle towing, dolly wheel demonstrations and self loading tow trucks. When you attend, you have the opportunity to help with these demonstrations, ask questions, This is a day for towers and their trucks. There is no test, there is no competition, and there is no fee, this is just a day of fun and sharing. Please try to join us, this year we are holding our event on June 19, 2010 at Herring Motors in Somerset Pa. Flyers are available just contact the association. This is a family day for everyone to enjoy. We even have a rollover set up for the kids to do. There will be food and drink vendors on site.
